Job Summary

Lead Allianz Life Malaysia’s Digital Partnerships function to build, launch and scale strategic ecosystem partnerships that drive sustainable new business growth. The role is responsible for identifying partnership opportunities, developing commercial propositions, managing end-to-end implementation, and delivering digital distribution initiatives across corporate, agency and consumer ecosystems, with a strong focus on Worksite Marketing (WSM) and MHIT growth.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute Allianz Life’s Digital Partnership strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
  • Identify, acquire and manage strategic ecosystem partners (digital platforms, fintechs, corporates, agencies and affinity partners).
  • Lead end-to-end partnership lifecycle from origination, commercial negotiation, implementation to performance management.
  • Drive Worksite Marketing (WSM) and MHIT growth through scalable digital distribution models.
  • Collaborate with Product, IT, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Underwriting and Distribution teams to deliver seamless partner integration.
  • Build business cases, partnership propositions and executive presentations for senior management approval.
  • Monitor partnership performance, customer acquisition, profitability and portfolio growth.
  • Identify new digital business opportunities and continuously enhance the partner ecosystem.

 

Key Requirements

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related discipline.
  • 8–12 years’ experience in business development, partnerships, digital distribution or strategic sales.
  • Proven experience managing external partnerships and complex cross-functional projects.
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate opportunities into scalable business outcomes.
  • Experience in insurance, financial services or digital ecosystem partnerships is an advantage
  • Familiar with use of AI tools such as ChatGPT for tasks simplification
