About the Job

The Internal IT Services Expert is responsible for planning, monitoring, and managing the consumption of Global Shared Services (GSS) and local services within the Branch. This role ensures cost and consumption transparency, validates service usage, and supports compliance with governance standards. The expert will also facilitate the migration of local services into GSS where feasible, while maintaining high standards of IT governance and compliance for the remining ones.

What you do

• Maintain repository of services consumed by the branch. Keep a track on addition of new services, modifications in existing services availed.

• Proactively Plan, monitor, and manage the consumption of Global Shared Services (GSS) by the branch.

• Monitor service consumption at the Branch level and identify opportunities and initiate optimalisation initiatives / clean-up activities with stakeholders, such as reviewing discrepancies in resource allocation.

• Proactively Plan, monitor, and manage the budget of services provided by the Branch for the branch (i.e. not sold to other entities) and identify migration plan towards Global Shared Services where possible.

• Ensure all stipulated closure activities are duly performed in a timely manner for decommissioned or discontinued services

• Ensure services delivered by the Branch for its own use are efficiently managed in terms of compliance, statutory & regulatory requirements (e.g., local payroll system, local finance system, etc).

• Ensure all local services comply with internal policies and external regulations. Maintain high standards of governance by following global processes such as SPM, conducting penetration tests, performing fit-gap analyses for DORA, executing ARA assessments, and collaborating with local business owners on compliance topics.

• Collaborate with technical and delivery experts of respective services to ensure accurate pricing, reliable forecasting, and compliance across the entire value chain.

• Manage IT services costs provided by other OEs within the country, including those from third party providers.

• Facilitate the assurance of contractual agreements between Allianz Technology SE, the subsidiary/affiliate for the consumption of Global Shared Services by the branch.

 

What you bring

• Higher education degree with technical-economical focus e.g. industrial engineering or equivalent work experience (7+ years).

• Strong business acumen and financial knowledge, preferably in Service Management, including understanding of relevant processes, services, and their lifecycles.

• Experience in budget management and cost-effective planning and financial analysis.

• Strong understanding of IT governance and compliance standards.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (especially Excel), ServiceNow, and SAP (FI-CO/BW).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a cross-functional environment.

• Experience working in an international environment is advantageous.

• Fluent in English with the ability to explain complex subjects clearly.
