The Allianz Actuarial Structured Internship Program is a 3-6 months program that aims to develop young talent in Actuarial with essential skills through exposure to business functions and projects.

 

What You’ll Learn & Contribute To

  • Gain valuable industry and work experience through exposure to Actuarial and non-Actuarial business functions.
  • Participate in Actuarial projects /assignments with execution responsibility for assigned projects /assignments.
  • Comprehensive mentoring and coaching opportunities on technical knowledge application with senior colleagues and Chief Actuary.
  • Trainings on industry knowledge, soft skills and other employability skills.
  • Potential award of conditional offer of full-time employment with Allianz Malaysia Berhad for outstanding candidates.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Penultimate or final-year student in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields

  • Minimum CGPA: 3.00 onwards or any other equivalent qualifications
  • Proficient in Excel, Visual Basic, Python and /or SQL is a plus.

  • Ability to leverage AI tools like ChatGPT for automating routine tasks and enhancing productivity.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

What to expect during the process:

  2. Video Recording Screening: After reviewing your application, you may be invited to participate in a video recording screening. This step allows us to learn more about your skills, experiences, and motivations for applying. You will receive instructions on how to complete this recording.
  3. Shortlisting: Based on the video recordings, we will shortlist candidates who best match the qualifications and requirements of the internship.
  4. Assessment:Physical assessment for both individual and group interviews
  5. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview with our team. This is an opportunity for you to discuss your experiences and aspirations in more detail and for us to answer any questions you may have about the internship.
  6. Final Selection: After the interviews, successful candidates will be notified and offered a position in our internship program.
