Partnership Manager (Life Insurance)

An individual in this role assist the HOD in building health partnerships that promote wellness and complement health claims, with the emphasis to provide effective health interventions within the customers’ journey. The Manager is responsible in executing vendor on-boarding process, maintaining and upkeep the relevant documentation, managing daily affairs of the vendors, and manages the content of the health App. This position reports to the HOD (Partnerships and COO’s Office), Operations.

You'll be responsible for:

• Execute the on-boarding process of the prospect vendor; including compiling the necessary documentation and assist with the go-live implementation.
• Execute and manage timely roll-outs as per the given timeline. 
• Manage the vendors’ relationship, affairs, and the day-to-day enquiries/requests
• Manage vendors with service agreements on service deliveries, feedback & cost review.
• Handle negotiations with vendors independently.
• Analyse performance & data to provide recommendation of new/renewal/termination of services
• Follow-up with internal departments on obtaining necessary clearances e.g. procurement, legal, branding, IT security, compliance, corporate communication, etc.
• Prepares periodic review/reporting/analysis on Vendor’s SLA, utilization, feedback & cost avoidance
• Maintain inventory of contracts and proper documentation of responses from vendors and its related information.
• Plan, prepare and compile health contents for the health App, with adherence to SOP and editorial guidelines  
• Assumes other responsibilities as directed by the Head Of Department, Partnerships & COO’s Office

Important to your success:

• A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management and Insurance.
• Substantial experience in the insurance industry, particularly in health insurance are added advantages .
• Experience in managing partnerships or alliances, especially with healthcare providers, is highly valuable.
• Previous roles in business development, account management, or strategic partnerships within the healthcare or insurance sectors are beneficial.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills to manage relationships with healthcare providers and other partners.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify opportunities for partnerships and to optimize existing collaborations.
• Project management skills to oversee partnership initiatives and ensure successful implementation.
• Familiarity with using ChatGPT for automating routine tasks and enhancing productivity
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Melayu. Added proficiency in other language(s) are highly valuable.
