Senior Accounts Executive / Assistant Manager

We have an exciting opening for Senior Accounts Executive / Assistant Manager, to support the full investment lifecycle — from purchase and operations to performance management and reporting, across Allianz entities. This role reports to both the Head of Investments and the Head of Accounting & Reporting.

Responsibilities: 

Investment Management

• Support on in depth investment performance review, risk and investment limits monitoring, as well as investment mandate review. 
• Support annual outsourcing assessment and agreement management.
• Support risk control requirements on Investments.

Operations

• Trade booking, reconciliation and settlement in SAP IMA (Investment module) and SAP CAP (Accounting).
• Resolve operational issues that arise between Fund manager and custodian.

Reporting

• Support on group, statutory and regulatory reporting in relation to Investments in accordance with local / international accounting standards and group policies, including working with auditors during the year end audit process.

Others 

• Maintain up-to-date processes, workflows, and SOPs, ensuring adherence with processes and controls.
• Support in/Drive change projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Other ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned. 

Capabilities and Qualifications: 

• Degree in Accountancy and Finance or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision, attention to detail and good team player.
• Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills.
• Experience in local reporting regime and SAP financial accounting and investment system will be advantageous.
