Service Portfolio Management Manager

Position Summary
- The Branch Service Portfolio Management is the representative SPM-counterpart on branch level and functions as extended arm for steering, implementation & monitoring of SPM activities within the branch.
- This role will report into Head of Operations, Asia under the COO pillar.
Key Responsibilities
- Functions as key counterpart for service managers in branch and answers queries (if not possible, fwd. query to central SPM)
- Drives local service design processes and supports local SMs.
- Coordinates and drives SPM initiatives coming from central organization within the branch and communicates status towards central SPM
- Proactively engages in SPM community and shares feedback, best practices and knowledge assets helpful to other SPOCs
- Shares updates/ information on SPM-related topics to relevant stakeholders within his/her branch
- Acts as knowledge champion within branch
- Conducted all SPM-specific training sessions provided by central SPM team or via Allianz Connect
- Assigned Branch SPM must be an internal employee from Allianz Technology due to business criticality of the role
- Able to multi task to perform Project Portfolio Management when required
- Ensure effective adoption of global standards, processes and tools
- Ensure efficient and effective run of local Operations
Key requirements / skills / experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in project/program management, with at least 2 years in a PMO leadership role
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification preferred
- Experience managing complex portfolios in cross-functional, global environments
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Power BI)
- Candidate should have demonstratable experience using AGILE, DevOps, and Waterfall based development methods
- Candidate should have strong exposure to MS excel based data analysis, presentation using MS PowerPoint, and usage of project management tools
- Has a strong exposure to the functioning of the program management office, standardization of processes, tools, and associated governance.
- Goal-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experienced in managing multi-cultural and geographical dispersed teams through both direct and influence management
- Customer-centric mindset; Transparent & fact-based collaboration
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with different stakeholders
- Profound knowledge of service portfolio management-related topics (e.g., service design process, IT Service Catalog)
- Knowledge of Allianz´s branch environment, service requirements and culture, capabilities and processes
- Consulting, implementation or development of strategic initiatives
- Experience in creating and executing recommendations for improvements
- Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines (i.e., next to fulltime role)
- Fluency in English required
