Snr Exec/ AM, Liability Underwriter

You'll will be responsible to underwrite liability risks, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting branches and agents, delivering excellent customer service, and contributing to business targets and reporting.

You'll be responsible for:

• Underwrite new and renewal classes underwritten in Liability Department
• To work towards achieving individual or department’s yearly target
• Provide technical assistance to branches and agents
• Ensure full compliance - Legal & Compliance/Treaty /Reinsurance/ASU/LSR
• To provide quality customer service
• Helping and guiding branches on policy issuance
• Visit clients with marketers and agents as and when the need arises
• To prepare report and handle project as and when required
• Attend to any duty as and when require

Important to your success:

• Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Actuarial or any related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in liability underwriting or general insurance.
• Strong knowledge of underwriting practices and regulatory compliance
• Analytical and decision-making abilities to assess risk
• Familiarity with using ChatGPT for automating routine tasks and enhancing productivity
