We are looking for a Case Manager to join our team based in Launceston on a full-time basis.
Our Personal Injury & Commercial Division is committed to being the market leader. With proven expertise we provide a diverse range of products and solutions for our clients. By joining our high performing Workers Compensation team in Launceston, Tasmania, you will be part of a fast-paced environment dedicated to providing outstanding service, innovative thinking, and return to work support.
As a Senior Case Manager, you will manage a portfolio of claims end-to-end, delivering high-quality claims management services to achieve return to work and recovery outcomes for our customers, while adhering to service standards and compliance requirements. This position suits a strong influencer and relationship builder who can seamlessly work with a range of internal and external stakeholders. A positive and can-do attitude is a must for this role.
About the role
- Proactively manage claims within delegated authority to achieve cost-effective outcomes within the framework of the legislation
- Make liability decisions, gather information, and assess treatment and rehabilitation needs
- Identify return to work barriers and implement targeted strategies to address these
- Build trusted relationships with customers and stakeholders to drive successful outcomes, ensuring customers are consulted as part of the claims process and informed of all key claim developments
- Ensure timely, high-quality case management with a focus on positive customer experience, ensuring responsibility taken for prompt resolution of enquiries
- Actively contribute to the achievement of business targets and participate in departmental projects as required
- Maintain and improve technical knowledge across all facets of claims management
- Keep up to date with legislative amendments and their practical application
About you
- Experience in personal injury claims and/or customer service environment
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional service with empathy and professionalism
- The ability to plan, prioritise, and organise tasks effectively; managing competing demands
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills where you communicate with clarity, impact, and influence
- Strong attention to detail and technically proficient across systems, databases, and reporting tools
- Ability to handle challenging situations with a calm, can-do approach
- A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape
