Job Title: Cloud Engineer
Job Description:
We are seeking a Cloud Engineer with experience in platform, infrastructure, and DevOps to lead our efforts in supporting CDC Cloud infrastructure and development. The ideal candidate will focus on learning and managing Cloud Landing Zones, cloud security, cloud migrations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of cloud solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Learn and maintain scalable and efficient cloud-based solutions on AWS and Azure.
- Lead initiatives to automate cloud infrastructure.
- Learn our Infrastructure as Code (IaC) platform and support it.
- Perform day-to-day cloud operations.
Requirements:
- Have strong knowledge in at least one of the areas of AWS, Azure, FinOps, or DevSecOps.
- Programming/Scripting skills (good to have) – Ansible, Terraform, Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive learning of new cloud technologies.
- Development mindset.
- Good understanding of DevOps tools like Git, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Has attended at least Azure Fundamentals / Azure 104 or AWS Fundamentals / AWS Associate courses.
- Certification is good to have.
- At least 5+ years in infrastructure technologies.
- Knowledge or experience working in CI/CD pipelines.
- Scripting knowledge.
A fundamental grasp of AI tools will be an added benefit.
