Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • Minimum 12 years of experience in Business Analysis or Product Development within the Indian Insurance or InsurTech domain.
    • Proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional projects in Agile environments.
  • Domain Expertise:
    • Strong understanding of Indian insurance value chain—including product setup, underwriting, claims, and regulatory requirements.
    • Exposure to core insurance systems, policy administration platforms, and digital front-end solutions.
  • Agile & SDLC Expertise:
    • Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle.
    • Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.
  • Technical & Analytical Acumen:
    • Ability to understand data models, integrations, APIs, and workflows to bridge business and technical perspectives effectively.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess requirements and recommend feasible, value-driven solutions.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management:
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills to engage with senior business leaders, product owners, and IT stakeholders.
    • Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Leadership & Collaboration:
    • Ability to lead business analysis activities independently, mentor junior analysts, and drive collaboration across multi-functional teams.
  • Education & Certifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
    • Preferred certifications: Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), or equivalent Agile/BA certifications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in core system transformation or digital platform modernization projects in insurance.
  • Exposure to automation, AI, or data-driven insurance product implementations.
  • Prior experience working with global delivery models or multi-location teams.
