Strategic Demand Alignment

  • Partner with business leaders to evaluate new ideas, perform gap analysis, and define project scope.
  • Elicit, document, and critically challenge business requirements from various areas (Products, Sales, Claims, Finance, IT, etc.), ensuring they are complete, unambiguous, and aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Assess the feasibility, priority, and business value of requests, pushing back when necessary to prevent scope creep and maintain focus on high-impact deliverables.

End-to-End Orchestration

  • Lead the delivery of complex projects, ensuring IT solutions are not only delivered on schedule but effectively solve the identified business problems.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, track milestones, manage risks/issues, and provide transparent status reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • Proactively map and manage cross-area dependencies, flagging potential conflicts early and facilitating resolution between business units, IT, and external partners.

Value Maximization

  • Prioritize the demand backlog based on strategic fit, technical feasibility, and resource availability, shielding IT delivery teams from "noise" and misaligned requests.

Act as the primary liaison between business and IT, translating complex needs into clear functional specifications and validating that delivered solutions meet agreed-upon success criteria.

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Project Management and/or Functional Analysis roles, ideally within insurance, financial services or a similarly regulated industry.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall or hybrid); PMP, PMI-ACP or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Proven ability to elicit, document and challenge business requirements in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory; Portuguese and/or Spanish are a plus.
  • Strong dependency management skills: ability to map, track and proactively resolve cross-functional and cross-system dependencies.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability — comfortable acting as the single point of responsibility for project outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills; ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders constructively, combined with strong planning and organizational capabilities.
