Key Responsibilities & Bring to the Team

  • Deep production experience with Go and strong software engineering fundamentals. Ability to read, understand, and improve unfamiliar codebases, with hands-on experience modernizing real systems through migrations, replatforming initiatives, or brownfield rewrites. Strong understanding of what distinguishes successful modernization efforts from those that fail to deliver.
  • Experience building tools for engineers, including internal platforms, CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, or developer-facing systems. Appreciation for close collaboration with engineering users and a user-centric approach to tooling adoption and developer productivity.
  • Practical experience with AI-assisted software development tools, combined with a balanced understanding of their strengths and limitations. Ability to evaluate AI-generated outputs critically and make evidence-based decisions about their application in production environments.
  • Experience designing and operating distributed systems, including familiarity with eventual consistency, retries, idempotency, and common failure modes within event-driven architectures.
  • Strong focus on software verification and quality engineering, with experience in testing strategies, contract validation, automated quality controls, and review tooling. Recognition of verification as a critical component of modern software delivery, particularly in environments involving AI-generated code.
  • Fluent business English communication skills, with the ability to explain technical trade-offs clearly to engineers, QA teams, and product stakeholders. Experience working effectively within enterprise environments that require adherence to security, compliance, and governance standards while maintaining delivery momentum.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with LLM pipelines, agent-based workflows, or evaluation frameworks.
  • Experience with API contract tooling, such as OpenAPI and consumer-driven contract testing.
  • Background in developer experience (DevEx), platform engineering, or build and release engineering.
  • Experience with enterprise integrations and complex system landscapes.
  • Exposure to insurance, financial services, or other highly regulated industries.

Even if you don’t check all the boxes, we are happy to receive your CV.
