We are looking for you! We are currently seeking a Controller to join our new Allianz project in Portugal to deliver strategic financial insights, performance analysis, and forecasting that drives leadership decision-making and business objectives.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary expert for all controlling and financial matters within the organization
- Strategically manage P&L performance and implement sophisticated cost optimization measures
- Orchestrate and drive the annual planning process with precision and foresight
- Design and maintain advanced monthly financial forecasting models to enhance decision-making
- Conduct comprehensive variance analysis between historical results and forecasts to identify trends and opportunities
- Oversee complex cost center controlling and financial processes through meticulous time and cost tracking
- Provide expert management of service provider contracts, including end-to-end process handling
- Architect and implement innovative controlling tools and procedures to drive operational excellence
- Deliver insightful financial reports and compelling presentations for executive leadership
- Collaborate effectively with international stakeholders, ensuring consistent application of global best practices and standards
Key requirements:
- Experience in Controlling within an international environment
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related field
- Expert knowledge of MS Office suite, particularly Excel (advanced dashboards, pivot tables, complex financial formulas) and PowerPoint
- Comprehensive understanding of SAP modules (CO, FI, BO, BW)
- Fluent written and spoken English; additional languages are advantageous
- Strategic entrepreneurial mindset with ability to identify opportunities and drive initiatives
- Proactive approach and high engagement in dynamic controlling environments
- Strong sense of ownership with excellent stakeholder management capabilities
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to quickly interpret complex financial data
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
