Summary of Role: 

 

As an Internal Communications Intern, you will play a key role in contributing to the achievement of Allianz Trade NEUR/UK strategic objectives by supporting the development and dissemination of internal communications. This role ensures alignment with the Group Communications strategy and policy while fostering employee engagement and collaboration. You will gain valuable experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, working closely with various departments and stakeholders to deliver impactful communications that resonate with employees. 

 

Main Tasks:

 

  • Assist in the preparation, editing, and proofreading of internal communications materials, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with the company's internal communications strategy.
  • Create engaging content for various internal channels, including newsletters, intranet updates, and announcements.
  • Provide strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of communications materials and adherence to deadlines.
  • Maintain an organized repository of communications assets and templates for easy access and reuse.
  • Assist in organising and supporting internal events, such as town halls, workshops, and seminars, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop event-related materials, including invitations, agendas, and post-event summaries.
  • Track and report on the effectiveness of internal communications initiatives, leveraging analytics to inform and improve future strategies.
  • Monitor employee feedback and engagement metrics to assess the impact of communications efforts.
  • Act as a gatekeeper for internal communications, ensuring all content aligns with the established strategy, tone of voice, and brand guidelines before dissemination.
  • Work closely with various departments to gather information and insights, influencing the creation of impactful communications that resonate with employees.
  • Support cross-Business Unit (BU) and Operating Entity (OE) collaboration within Allianz Trade in Northern Europe and the broader Allianz communications networks.

 

Skills/Experience we are looking for:

 

  • Ideally, a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders at various levels.
  • Familiarity with digital communication tools and platforms is a plus.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • A creative mindset and a passion for storytelling and employee engagement.
