We’re seeking an experienced Senior Events and Marketing Manager to lead the strategic planning, management, and execution of a diverse portfolio of in-person, virtual, and hybrid events. This role supports Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty’s business development, client engagement, thought leadership, and brand reputation goals. Acting as a strategic partner to senior stakeholders, you’ll ensure events align with commercial priorities and compliance standards while driving innovation in marketing and branding initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver a variety of events (conferences, client events, sponsorships, etc.) from concept to post-event evaluation.

Define objectives, target audiences, and success metrics to maximize ROI.

Manage third-party vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure quality and cost efficiency.

Oversee event budgets, financial reconciliation, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Act as a compliance advisor for events and sponsorships, ensuring adherence to Allianz and industry standards.

Collaborate with local and global teams to align activities with broader initiatives.

Manage event-related systems (e.g., Salesforce, Cvent), provide training, and ensure data accuracy.

Produce post-event analysis and ROI reports to drive continuous improvement.
Key Requirements:

Minimum 7 years of experience in corporate events and hospitality, preferably in insurance.

Proven track record of delivering high-profile events aligned with commercial objectives.

Strong understanding of brand strategy, governance, and reputation management.

Experience in global matrix organizations and proficiency in event technology platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Cvent).

Excellent communication, influencing, and analytical skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- A willingness to learn and explore how AI can enhance your role and the broader organization is expected.

Degree in Event Management or related field preferred.
