As a Summer Intern, you will be part of a small group of interns and work closely with one of our key departments: Credit or Commercial. You’ll contribute to meaningful projects, develop new skills, and gain practical experience in your assigned area.

In addition to your core responsibilities, you’ll also have the chance to participate in learning events that provide insights into other departments, functions, and the broader Trade Credit Insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Depending on your assigned department, your responsibilities may include:

Credit Function:

  • Supporting the assessment and monitoring of credit risk for our clients.
  • Assisting in the analysis of financial data and evaluating the creditworthiness of businesses.
  • Collaborating with the team to prepare reports and recommendations for decision-making.
  • Gaining exposure to credit risk management tools and processes.

Commercial Function:

  • Supporting the development and management of client relationships.
  • Assisting in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and marketing materials.
  • Conducting market research and competitor analysis.
  • Gaining insights into sales strategies and customer engagement processes.

What You’ll Gain

  • Practical, hands-on experience in a professional environment.
  • Exposure to the Trade Credit Insurance industry and its key functions.
  • Opportunities to network with professionals and fellow interns.
  • A deeper understanding of how different departments collaborate to deliver value to clients.

What We’re Looking For:

We are seeking candidates who are:

  • Currently enrolled in undergraduate studies (ideally in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field).
  • Curious and eager to learn about Trade Credit Insurance and the financial services industry.
  • Strong communicators with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical thinkers with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Team players who are proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

For Credit Function Internships:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced knowledge of Excel, Access, and VBA for Excel.
  • Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools is a plus.
  • Ideally, experience in data processing, management, and analysis.
  • Familiarity with financial analysis and credit systems is highly desirable.

Additional Requirement:
Due to the short duration of the internship, candidates must already have the right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
