Key responsibilities

 

In the CTO area, we are seeking a dynamic Business Steering Lead with a finanical background and strong consulting capabilities to join our global team at Allianz Partners. You will report into the Global Head of Productivity and Business Steering.

 

The role focusses on creating transparency of the status of key strategic and transformative initiatives, to ensure financial company goals are met. You will setup and maintain an initiative tracking and monitioring framework – across geographies, functions and lines of businesses – to measure progress and enable steering of our business towards success:

 

Through this role you are in charge of the following:

 

  • Build and drive transformation reporting framework: monitor, track prgress and steering of all transformation projects and initiatives, especially linked to our 2030 strategic program Elevate.
  • Identify risks and devise mitigation strategies to ensure that our transforamtion journey is both successful and sutainable.
  • Conduct through analysis of current business performance, identify key areas / geographies for improvement, propose and develop actionable strategies tailored to different departments and cultural contexts.
  • Act as a liason between different funcitons, collaborate with various teams, departments and key senior stakeholders worldwide, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and standards.
  • Utilize financial frameworks to track and challenge progress of (strategic) initiatives, adhering to Allianz Partners' quality and compliance requirements.


What you bring 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or business consulting within the insurance sector.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing transformational projects or programs.
  • Insurance Industry Knowledge: solid understanding of insurance operations and products, including knowledge of Allianz Partners' offerings and market positioning.
  • Project Management: Proficiency in managing fairly complex projects across multiple regions and stakeholders.
  • Management Accounting and Data Analysis: Ability to analyze financial metrics, build steering reports and define actionable insights.
  • Change Management: Skills in managing organizational change and overcoming cultural resistance.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with stakeholders using the core values of Allianz.
  • Strategic Thinking: Capability to measure success of long-term business strategies and concepts.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate ideas, proposals, and project updates across stakeholders.
  • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with financial reporting tools and software.
  • Leadership: Ability to influence cross-functional, multicultural teams towards achieving company target.
