How can you make an impact?

• As a Central Project Officer, you will play a key role in driving transparency, consistency and strategic alignment across the project portfolio
• You will ensure that projects and initiatives are prioritized, governed and delivered in line with business strategy, value creation and resource availability
• By establishing and continuously improving project portfolio management standards, governance frameworks and reporting, you will enable senior stakeholders to make informed, data‑driven decisions
• Acting as a central interface between business, IT and executive management, you will foster cross‑functional collaboration, proactively manage dependencies and risks, and support the successful execution of strategic initiatives
• Through a strong focus on portfolio optimization, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement, you will directly contribute to increased efficiency, delivery reliability and business impact across the organization

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong project management expertise with solid business and IT acumen
• Proven experience in setting up and running Project Management governance, including reporting structures, documentation standards and PM tools
• Ability to manage projects in line with established project management principles and methodologies
• Strong analytical and financial skills, particularly in the context of Project Portfolio Management
• Excellent stakeholder management capabilities across functions, seniority levels and disciplines
• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate, influence and align diverse stakeholders
• Proactive mindset with a strong focus on business process improvement, innovation and stakeholder experience
• Experience working effectively in an agile organizational environment
• Highly organized, with a natural inclination towards strategic and tactical planning
• Ability to motivate and lead cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and deliver results
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate messages, common vision and goals to diverse audiences
• Very strong command of spoken and written English; German is a plus    

Preferred Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in consulting, Project Portfolio Management or a comparable role
• University degree (at least Bachelor’s level) with strong professional and intellectual IT capability
• Previous experience in business-related functions (e.g. Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital / Tech) is a strong plus        
• Previous experience in insurance or asset management business functions, consulting, digital / tech is a plus
• Experience applying ChatGPT, Generative AI, and Ethical AI solution
