Who will you join?

Compliance Officer in Control Testing & Reviews in Group Compliance German Desk. 

How can you make an impact?

As a specialist in the Control Testings & Reviews team, you will play a key role in monitoring and optimising internal processes. 

You will be:

• Supporting the further development and implementation of the Non-Financial Risk Management Framework for Allianz Germany
• Identifying, assessing and monitoring non-financial risks and the associated mitigation measures
• Planning, conducting and documenting control testing
• Designing and conducting compliance reviews, as well as monitoring and following up on the relevant measures
• Analysing and assessing compliance risks, and continuously developing the relevant processes
• Deriving actionable insights to support strategic decisions and strengthen compliance within Allianz
• Close collaboration with cross-functional teams to foster a sustainable risk culture within the organisation

What are you made of?

Minimum Qualifications

• A degree in economics, law, or a comparable field, as well as relevant professional experience in the financial sector, is required
• Practical experience in the areas of risk management, compliance, audit, or reviews, ideally within the financial industry, a consultancy, or a comparable corporate function, is brought to the role
• Extensive industry-specific expertise, preferably in the insurance sector, as well as knowledge of regulatory requirements, is present
• Strong analytical skills enable the precise, structured, and target group-oriented preparation and presentation of complex issues
• Strategic work, solution-oriented thinking, and the ability to act flexibly in an agile environment are well-developed
• Excellent communication skills, teamwork, and a high level of business acumen are key characteristics
• Fluency in German and Business English, along with proficiency in MS Office applications, complete the profile        

Preferred Qualifications

• Solid understanding of compliance guidelines as well as familiarity with relevant legal requirements and regulatory standards is present
• Experience in risk monitoring and reporting, along with the ability to identify and assess emerging risks is demonstrated
• Experience in the insurance industry, asset management, consulting, or working with digital technologies is advantageous
• Knowledge and experience with innovative technologies such as ChatGPT, Generative AI, or Ethical AI are considered an additional asset
• Previous experience in insurance or asset management business functions, consulting, digital / tech is a plus
• Experience applying ChatGPT, Generative AI, and Ethical AI solution
