JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

• Software development in the field of Core Data Processing with the programming languages SQL and PL/SQL
• Data modeling and enrichment
• Continuous development and support of processes in a heterogeneous system landscape based on Oracle 19c databases (Exadata)
• Participate in the renewal of the technology stack with cloud-based services (e.g. REST API)
• Support of the specialist department, including in the implementation of overarching functional extensions
• Depending on experience, sub-project management or project management with planning, coordination and implementation, including requirements analysis (and customer communication) is also possible

KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Successfully completed technical or university studies in (business) informatics,
• mathematics or economics with an IT focus and/or comparable professional experience
• In-depth knowledge of SQL including relevant development experience with very large databases. Proven willingness and ability to apply Oracles PL/SQL in a very short time at high professional standards.
• Experience with cloud solutions and data lakes
• Knowledge of Python
• Interest in topics related to the finance/insurance industry
• Analytical and conceptual skills, coordination and organizational skills
• High degree of analytical thinking, motivation, reliability, personal responsibility and independence
• Team spirit and strong communication skills
• Customer- and service-oriented, confident appearance in an international environment
• Very good knowledge of German and English
