Distribution Allianz Business Manager (f/m/d)

Join us now as Distribution Allianz Business Manager in Munich within the Distribution Allianz team. In this role, you will act as a strategic sparring partner to senior management and serve as a central coordination hub across Distribution Allianz department. Distribution Allianz is a global distribution unit which:

• Manages Allianz as a client, including the proprietary assets of the Allianz Group
• Cooperates with Allianz entities worldwide to leverage their distribution channels for AllianzGI products and to jointly develop investment solutions
• Uses deep insurance and institutional know how to drive growth with Allianz entities and selected insurance players beyond Allianz
• This role sits at the intersection of Retail Distribution, Institutional (General Account) Business, and Asset Life / Innovation activities

What you will do

• Act as a strategic sparring partner to senior management and as a central coordination hub across Distribution Allianz team
• Translate complex strategic, commercial, and investment topics into clear, decision ready insights, ensure alignment across stakeholders, and support the execution of key strategic initiatives
• Act as trusted business partner to the Head of Distribution Allianz
• Prepare executive‑level presentations, briefing notes, and decision papers for:

• • Senior management and Board‑level meetings
  • Allianz Group committees and steering forums
  • Internal and external senior stakeholder engagements

• Structure complex topics into clear narratives, key messages, and management recommendations
• Support strategic planning, prioritization, and tracking of Distribution Allianz initiatives
• Coordinate cross‑functional topics across:

• • Retail Distribution units
  • Institutional / General Account stakeholders
  • Product, Investment, and Asset Life teams

• Ensure alignment, transparency, and disciplined follow‑up across initiatives
• Drive and support high‑impact strategic projects (e.g. distribution strategy, governance topics, innovation initiatives)
• Conduct deep‑dive analyses on market, client, portfolio, and business topics
• Translate analysis into actionable management insights
• Own the quality, consistency, and clarity of Distribution Allianz management communication
• Develop executive‑ready storylines and visualization standards
• Support preparation of speeches, talking points, and written communication

What you bring

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field
• Several years of professional experience in strategy, business management, consulting, or asset management
• Strong understanding of asset management, distribution models, and institutional clients
• Allianz / Insurance ecosystem experience is a strong plus
• Excellent analytical, structuring, and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to translate complexity into clarity for senior audiences
• Strong stakeholder management skills across seniority levels and cultures
• Highly reliable, proactive, and outcome-oriented working style
• Excellent Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills with executive standards
• Strategic mindset combined with hands on execution capability
• High level of ownership, discretion, and professionalism
• Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
• Collaborative, resilient, and intellectually curious
• Business fluent English
• German strongly preferred
• Additional languages are a plus
• AI skills such as Microsoft CoPilot
