The Operations & IT Academy is  part of the Allianz University— dedicated to AI transformation, digital upskilling, and data literacy across the Allianz group.

This role is a rare dual opportunity: you will work as a n intern in the role of a Junior Learning Manager within our team while simultaneously completing your Master's degree at Steinbeis University — fully funded by Allianz. Your Master's thesis will be rooted in real work you do with us.

In addition to exciting topics and a collaborative work environment, we support and challenge you and your development. During your time with our team, you will complete a two-year, work-integrated Master's program at the School of International Business and Entrepreneurship (SIBE), the Graduate School for Leadership & Management at Steinbeis University. What you will do as a Junior Learning Manager (m/f/d) 

 

  • Contribute to cutting-edge global learning projects in AI and digital skills, designed for specific business target groups across Allianz worldwide
  • Co-create and design e-learningsand learning nuggets alongside senior e-learning designers
  • Act as Learning Manager for both virtual and onsite classroom trainings — owning the full delivery cycle
  • Grow into a trainer role for GenAI tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot, M365) and facilitate training events for colleagues across Allianz
  • Support senior Learning Managers in developing concepts, presentations, and training materials
  • Manage learning logistics and communications via internal platforms and newsletters
  • Develop your own learning project that forms the foundation of your Master's thesis — with dedicated mentoring support throughout

What you bring as a Junior Learning Manager (m/f/d) 

 

Must-have: 

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Economics, HR, or a field related to AI, digital, or learning
  • At least 2 years of working experience in Learning & Development, Talent Management, AI Adoption, or a comparable area
  • Genuine passion for AI and the future of digital learning
  • Strong proficiency in GenAI tools, and confident with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent English — written and spoken; German is a plus
  • Openness to creative and innovative solutions, as well as a passion for working with forward-thinking technologies such as artificial intelligence or internal ChatGPT
