The Group People Ops & IT function is dedicated to operating and enhancing our Employee Master Platform (EMP) through innovative initiatives and enhancements. The EMP is comprised of three main components:

  • SuccessFactors (SF): SF is a cloud-based global platform that serves as the foundation for the Global  Employee Master Platform system. It houses our people data and processes throughout the employee lifecycle, including organizational and employee information (EC), recruiting and onboarding, learning, talent and performance management, compensation, succession, skill management, and analytics. SF is designed to enable data-driven insights and streamline our operations, making our lives easier and more impactful.
  • Service Delivery Technologies: Our future work model is modern and forward-looking, aimed at enhancing the employee experience. These technologies empower our teams with autonomy and act as catalysts for our digital People journey.
  • Enabling Tech Tools: These tools complement the SuccessFactors suite, further enhancing the employee experience and simplifying daily tasks. They improve the quality of People & Culture services for all Allianz colleagues.

 

As an Employee Central (EC) Business Owner, you will be instrumental in setting global key strategic directions for all our  People Admin processes and connected tools, governing these processes across Allianz entities worldwide. Your role will focus on the enhancement of the SuccessFactors suite, particularly the EC module, which forms the foundation of our organizational and employee data model. You will drive the strategic vision for optimizing People Admin processes through innovative solutions and AI technologies, ensuring they are efficient and aligned with Allianz's global objectives. In addition to this, you will lead efforts to expand the EMP by integrating additional  tools that streamline global  People processes and enhance user experience based on the EC Data model, all while adhering to globally defined architectural principles. Your collaboration with Allianz Operating Entities, Allianz Technology, and external providers will be crucial in achieving these goals.

How can you make an impact?

 

You will:

  • Shape the global People Admin agenda by setting vision, strategy, and governance across Allianz entities, ensuring alignment with strategic People Admin (EC) Roadmap
  • Manage transformation initiatives related to our global Employee Master Platform, focusing on EC, Time & Attendance and Payroll changes
  • Collaborate with entities and (senior) stakeholders to develop an aligned strategic People Admin (EC) Roadmap and translate the demands into global, scalable, actionable business requirements and implementation stories
  • Enhance EC functionalities to increase global user experience, productivity and support the development of other EMP initiatives
  • Prepare management presentations, ad-hoc analysis, and status reports for the SuccessFactors Product Owner Team
  • Lead the global People Admin expert community, ensuring best practice sharing, collaboration, and scaling across Allianz
  • Stay ahead of trends in HR tech, AI, and digital tools to unlock efficiency and innovation
     

 

What are you made of?

 

Minimum Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in product management/application development, with a focus on IT systems and HR innovations
  • Proven experience in a global HR/People governance role or system ownership role, ideally with a focus on IT systems and innovations
  • Expertise in HR IT applications and architecture, particularly SAP SuccessFactors, including Employee Central (EC), People admin processes, data governance, and Role-Based Permissions (RBPs).  Time & Attendance, Payroll.
  • Experience with SAP SF Joule, ServiceNow, and OpenText is an advantage
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detail
  • Pro-active and independent working style with the ability to deliver high-quality results even under time pressure
  • Collaborative and true team player with problem-solving and conceptual capabilities, skilled at building networks and engaging global stakeholders collaboratively.
  • Experience in an international environment, demonstrating excellent cross-cultural collaboration and skills

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong academic track record with a university degree preferably in economics, business administration, IT, or similar
  • Project management experience (classical & agile); SCRUM certification is advantageous
  • Strategic and visionary thinker, eager to shape the future of global People Admin.
  • Passionate about AI, and transformation topics, including AI, digitalization and HR tech innovation, with curiosity to explore new tools and trends.
  • Very strong communication skills, including fluently in written and spoken English, with confidence in daily interaction with management and customers; German is a plus.
  • Advanced MS Office skills, with high proficiency in MS-Excel and PowerPoint; JIRA is a plus    
  • Previous experience in insurance or asset management business functions, consulting, digital / tech is a plus
  • Experience applying ChatGPT, Generative AI, and Ethical AI solution
