Job Purpose / Role:
The Allianz Direct CFO is a member of the Allianz Direct Board of Management and is responsible for overseeing all financial matters of the company. The CFO drives financial integrity and sustainable profitability across Allianz Direct’s business, while managing financial risk and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Assistant to Chief Financial Officer (CFO):
• Supports the development of financial concepts and Allianz Direct’s financial strategy, acts as a sparring partner on financial topics, drives execution of key finance initiatives, and coordinates cross-functional projects within the finance area
• Takes ownership of specific finance projects and cross-functional initiatives — for example, in planning, reporting, or cost management
• Prepares Board, Supervisory Board, and investor relations materials, including financial presentations, narratives, and Q&A briefings
• Acts as an interface between the CFO and key stakeholders across
• Group Finance, Controlling, Actuarial, and the operating entities
• Manages administrative tasks in close collaboration with the CFO Office and the CFO’s personal assistant
Key Requirements/Skills/Experience
• 1-3 years of experience in management consulting, finance, controlling, investment banking, or M&A
• Degree in business administration, economics, finance, accounting, or mathematics
• Confidence engaging with senior management on a daily basis
• Strong analytical and conceptual aptitude, solid project management skills, and a clear affinity for AI tools
• Proactive and independent working style
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with sharp attention to detail
