The Strategy and Steering team within Group Compliance plays a crucial role in shaping Allianz’s compliance framework, driving strategic initiatives, and implementing technological solutions that enhance compliance operations. This team collaborates closely with senior leadership, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders to ensure that Allianz remains proactive in addressing regulatory changes and industry developments.
The Group Compliance Executive Project Management and Reporting Specialist supports the Group Compliance function in strengthening the quality, reliability, and efficiency of Compliance reporting including Management Information (MI) through advanced data analytics, automation, and reporting capabilities. The role is responsible for developing and maintaining automated data quality controls, enhancing reporting processes, and supporting the delivery of accurate and timely management information that enables effective oversight of global compliance risks.
Working closely with Group Compliance, Compliance IT, and Operating Entities, the role combines technical expertise with strong business understanding to improve reporting integrity, reduce operational risk, and support data-driven decision making.

You will:
1. Compliance Reporting and Data Quality
- Support the preparation, validation, and delivery of Group Compliance Management Information and regulatory reporting
- Perform data quality assessments across multiple internal data sources to ensure completeness, consistency, accuracy, and timeliness
- Investigate data discrepancies, identify root causes, and coordinate corrective actions with relevant stakeholders
- Develop and maintain data quality metrics, dashboards, and reporting standards
2. Automation and Process Optimization
- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based automation solutions to streamline Compliance reporting and data validation activities
- Build modular automation scripts that execute rule-based data validation, reconciliation, anomaly detection, and exception reporting
- Eliminate manual reporting activities through scalable and repeatable automation frameworks
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation and digitalization
3. Data Analytics
- Analyze large compliance datasets to identify trends, inconsistencies, and emerging risks
- Support the development of management dashboards, KPIs, KRIs, and executive reporting
- Produce analytical insights that support management decision-making and oversight
4. AI-Enabled Productivity
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot) responsibly to improve development productivity while ensuring all outputs are independently validated
- Evaluate emerging AI capabilities to enhance reporting, automation, and data quality processes
- Promote best practices for the responsible use of AI within Compliance reporting activities
5. Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with Group Compliance, Compliance IT, Data Management teams, and Operating Entities to understand reporting requirements
- Translate business reporting requirements into technical automation and validation solutions
- Support users during implementation, testing, and continuous improvement activities
6. Governance and Documentation
- Maintain technical documentation for automation scripts, validation rules, reporting logic, and operating procedures
- Ensure reporting processes comply with internal governance standards and audit requirement
- Support knowledge transfer and sustainability of developed solutions
What are you made of?
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline
- Experience in Python programming, data analytics, or reporting automation
- Experience working with structured data, SQL, Excel, and reporting tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data quality
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
- Experience in Compliance, Risk, Financial Services, or Insurance is advantageous
- Familiarity with AML/CTF reporting and governance is desirable
