Who will you join?
The Expert Digital and Information Risk Management will play a critical role in supporting Allianz's digital resilience initiatives by focusing on risk management and reporting within the Group Digital Resilience Group Center. Reporting to the Head of Global Third-Party Risk Mgmt & Digital and Information Risk Mgmt, this position involves developing and implementing effective risk management strategies, ensuring comprehensive risk reporting, while defining business requirements on required data sources being injected into one-single source of truth i.e. Data Lake and on visualization and analytics feature. The role requires working closely with cross-functional teams i.e., Group Risk, Allianz Technology, business owner of data and the OEs to safeguard Allianz's digital assets, maintain operational continuity, and provide expert guidance on managing digital and information risks effectively.
How can you make an impact?
You will:
- Risk Management and Digitization of Reporting: Develop and maintain comprehensive digital resilience risk reporting mechanisms, working closely with Group Risk to ensure alignment and integration of risk management strategies and frameworks, e.g., NFRM. Facilitate the sharing of insights and best practices to enhance overall risk resilience across the organization. This includes the following pillars of responsibilities:
- 1) Digital Resilience Report Scoping: Definition of long-term reporting target, prioritization and usability assessment for reporting (i.e., data sources), development of a short-term implementation plan for 2026, and the multi-year journey
- 2) Business Requirements: Definition of the reporting business requirements as a function of the time horizon and management guideline
- Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration: Engage with key stakeholders in the area of Digital and Information Risk Management across Allianz Group and the OEs. Foster collaboration and communication to align risk management efforts and ensure a unified approach to digital resilience
- Consultation and Alignment: Consult on Rules of Procedures for Group steering bodies to ensure alignment with related regulations, providing expert guidance to maintain compliance and operational integrity
- Project Leadership and Quality Assurance: Lead projects related to Digital and Information Risk Management, serving as a best practice and quality assurance resource. Ensure that initiatives meet high standards and contribute to the organization's strategic objectives
- Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs on Digital and Information Risk Management and related regulations, empowering teams with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively manage risks and comply with regulatory requirements
What are you made of?
Minimum Qualifications:
- Digital Resilience Expertise: Profound knowledge of digital resilience, including Information Security, Protection & Resilience, and IT, with a focus on regulatory compliance and risk management
- Regulatory and Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of insurance principles and regulatory frameworks (e.g., DORA, NIS2), with the ability to apply this knowledge to digital and information risk management
- Project Management: Demonstrated strong project management experience with attention to detail, capable of managing complex projects and multiple work streams simultaneously
- Analytical Skills: Ability to absorb information from various sources, analyze data in detail, and draw appropriate conclusions to inform risk management strategies
- IT and Reporting Skills: Proficient in IT skills, particularly with Office applications such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, with the ability to build and maintain reports aimed at senior stakeholders
- Communication Skills: Proven experience in communicating effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including senior management, to convey complex concepts and drive engagement
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, with excellent speaking and writing skills to facilitate communication across international teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Information Technology, or Risk Management
- Significant professional experience, ideally over 4 years, in digital resilience and risk management within the financial services sector, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance
- Previous experience in insurance or asset management business functions, consulting, digital / tech is a plus
- Experience applying ChatGPT, Generative AI, and Ethical AI solution
