We are looking for a Global Head of Multinational Business based in Munich, London and Madrid

Your Team
As the Global Head of Multinational Business, you will lead a high-impact team dedicated to driving innovation and excellence in Multinational insurance. Your team will focus on creating innovative technical capabilities and assets to support the growth and success of our global Multinational portfolio. Collaborating across regions, business lines, and operating entities, your team will deliver best-in-class solutions for our clients while fostering a culture of collaboration and technical excellence.

The Impact You Will Have
In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping Allianz’s Multinational strategy and driving our ambition to become a market leader in chosen markets and segments. By aligning Multinational business objectives with global and regional goals, you will ensure profitable growth, operational excellence, and a client-centric approach.

Your leadership will enable Allianz to:

Position Allianz Commercial as a market leader in Multinational business.
Drive the development of a robust Technical Excellence unit to support the global Multinational portfolio.
Foster collaboration across regions and business lines to deliver innovative solutions for clients.
Build and enhance technical capabilities, ensuring Allianz remains at the forefront of Multinational insurance.

Some of your specific responsibilities could include:

Strategic Leadership:

Develop and execute a comprehensive Multinational strategy, focusing on:

Service Leadership
Product Leadership
Business and Operating Model Consistency
Digital Leadership

Establish Allianz as a thought leader in Multinational insurance, driving innovation and excellence.
Lead the creation of technical capabilities and assets to support the growth and success of the global Multinational portfolio.

Business Performance:

Align Multinational ambitions with regional and global objectives to ensure profitable growth.
Establish Multinational as a key business segment with measurable performance metrics.
Embed Multinational into business review processes and drive a performance culture.

Business and Operating Model Development:

Build and enhance Multinational core competencies, including pre- and post-bind client servicing.
Oversee the performance and governance of the global Multinational delivery network, including 200+ legal entities, branches, and third-party partners.
Lead productivity initiatives and digital strategies, including pricing tools, simulators, and client interaction platforms.

Service Leadership:

Align service delivery with functional rules, market standards, and client expectations.
Drive continuous improvement in program and policy issuance cycle times, NPS ratings, and contract certainty.
Support distribution teams with clear SLAs for clients and brokers.

Digital Leadership:

Define and execute the digital strategy for Multinational, focusing on IIP requirements, ecosystem management, and digital tool development.
Lead the development of service pricing solutions, program simulators, and client interaction platforms.

Transformation Leadership:.

Foster a mindset shift towards customer first, profitable growth, and one team culture

What You'll Bring to the Role

Technical Expertise:

Deep knowledge of Multinational insurance solutions and risk products.
Strong understanding of client service, operations, and productivity management.
Proven experience in digital transformation and P&L responsibility.
The ability to ensure ethical AI practices and stay updated with emerging AI technologies will be key to maintaining a competitive advantage.

Professional Experience:

Minimum 11+ years in financial services, with a focus on commercial risk solutions and large corporate offerings.
Extensive experience in general and operations management at a global level.
Expertise in marketing, distribution, and business transformation (e.g., post-merger, turnaround, culture change).
Multinational underwriting experience with strong technical risk knowledge.

General Skills:

Exceptional relationship management and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead across a matrix organization.
In-depth market and insurance product knowledge.
Proven track record in business transformation and operational excellence.

Education and Certifications:

Graduate degree in a relevant discipline.
Higher degree or Chartered Insurance certification preferred.
Operations or Quality Management certification is a plus.
