Who will you join?

 

The Head of Global Value Steering & Performance is the executive leader accountable for defining, governing, and driving the global value creation agenda across the Finance Transformation. The role ensures that Finance operates as a high-performing, data-driven, and strategically aligned function, fully supporting Allianz’s ambition for operational excellence, productivity, and financial resilience. This executive heads the Finance-wide framework for cost transparency, performance management, financial planning & forecasting excellence, productivity analytics, and value realization. The role partners with senior leaders across Finance, Business, and Transformation to ensure value delivery and alignment with the global Finance strategy.      

 

 

How can you make an impact?

 

Executive Leadership of Value Steering Strategy

  • Set the global strategy for value steering and performance management aligned with Finance COO and Group priorities
  • Define governance for cost management, productivity tracking, and enterprise-wide performance frameworks
  • Represent Value Steering in senior leadership forums and CFO/COO decision rounds

Performance Steering, Planning & Forecasting Excellence

  • Oversee global standards for planning, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Ensure forecasting accuracy and transparency on key cost and performance drivers
  • Deliver actionable insights to CFO and COO leadership for enterprise decision-making

Enterprise Cost Optimization & Productivity Management

  • Lead global cost transparency and reporting frameworks
  • Drive productivity measurement, operational KPI frameworks, and automation benefits tracking
  • Support OEs in identifying and delivering cost efficiency opportunities

Transformation Value Realization

  • Lead the value realization strategy across Finance Transformation initiatives
  • Oversee value dashboards, KPI frameworks, and integrated reporting
  • Ensure measurable impact, productivity gains, and quality improvements

Data, Analytics & Digital Enablement

  • Guide adoption of data-driven performance steering across Finance
  • Enable digital performance tools including AI-assisted closing and predictive forecasting
  • Promote self-service analytics and advanced reporting capabilities

Integration into the Finance Target Operating Model (TOM)

  • Ensure global value steering processes are embedded into the TOM
  • Align KPIs, governance, and performance models with TOM components
  • Oversee consistent deployment across entities and programs

Executive Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership

  • Serve as key advisor to Group CFO and Finance COO on performance, risks, and opportunities
  • Lead executive steering forums and alignment with Controlling, FP&A, Accounting, HR, and Technology
  • Build and develop a global team of value steering and performance experts

 

 

What are you made of?


Minimum Qualifications

  • 15+ years of senior leadership experience in FP&A, Controlling, value steering, or finance transformation.
  • Executive track record leading multi-entity planning and performance management.
  • Expertise in financial modeling, cost allocation, forecasting, and KPI architecture.
  • Experience with transformation value realization and governance frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of data architectures, analytics, automation, and AI-enabled forecasting.
  • Strong ability to influence senior executive stakeholders globally.

  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills
  • Transformational leadership and change advocacy
  • High resilience, ownership, and delivery focus        
  • Previous experience in insurance or asset management business functions, consulting, digital / tech is a plus
  • Experience applying ChatGPT, Generative AI, and Ethical AI solution
