The Head of Product Deployment Europe / APAC is a critical delivery leader responsible for ensuring seamless product implementation, accurate documentation, and operational readiness across regional markets. Reporting to the Head of Global Product, this role translates commercial offers into configured solutions, driving speed, quality, and compliance from quote to delivery.
This leader oversees configuration, policy documentation (T&Cs, IPIDs), testing and quality assurance, automation initiatives, and product inventory management. By enabling scalable launches and minimizing risk, the role ensures operational excellence and a superior customer and partner experience.
What you will do
1. Strategic Leadership
Define and execute a global product deployment strategy that ensures timely, accurate, and compliant product launches.
Own product implementation KPIs, including cycle time, defect rates, documentation accuracy, and automation progress.
Standardize commercial offer configuration processes and templates across markets.
Drive automation initiatives from quote to delivery, leveraging API integrations and straight-through processing.
Maintain and govern the global product inventory, including sunsetting inactive products.
2. Organizational Transformation & Leadership
Establish a scalable product deployment operating model with clear intake, gating, and quality assurance processes.
Build and mentor a high-performing team of configuration specialists, documentation SMEs, and QA experts.
Embed risk management practices (RAID logs, go/no-go criteria) and continuous improvement initiatives.
Implement knowledge management for SOPs, templates, and deployment playbooks. Sign off on commercial deviations and exceptions, ensuring risk assessment, documentation, and compliance with governance standards.
3. Quality, Documentation & Testing
Ensure accurate and compliant policy documentation (T&Cs, IPIDs) for all offers, including localization workflows.
Oversee end-to-end testing (functional, UAT, regression) and sign-off for product releases.
Monitor and resolve incidents related to product deployments; implement corrective and preventive actions.
Keep templates and standards updated and audit-ready.
4. Stakeholder Engagement & Delivery Enablement
Collaborate with Product Development, Governance, Product Management, Underwriting, and Markets to ensure implementation readiness.
Provide transparent reporting on deployment status, risks, and decisions to executive forums.
Support Sales and Product Management during launch communications and partner onboarding.
Drive cross-market alignment on configuration standards to reduce complexity and technical debt.
What you will bring
Experience leading cross-functional and/or cross-country teams
Ability to manage multiple high-impact initiatives towards organizational targets
Extensive knowledge of multiple professional areas and the ability to combine critical information from diverse areas
Strong expertise in Travel Products and standardization scalability and sustainable profitability
Understand insurance industry and regulatory environment
