We are looking for an Intern in Global Commercial Data Office, based in our Munich Unterföhring office, who can work full-time with us for 6 months.
The Impact You Will Have
The intern will work closely with a Senior Consultant from Allianz Consulting to support the Chief Data Officer of Allianz Commercial in delivering strategic projects. The role includes preparing executive-level presentations, conducting analyses, summarizing meetings and contributing to stakeholder engagement strategies. It requires a structured approach and the ability to manage tasks independently.
Some of your specific responsibilities could include:
- Supporting the Senior Consultant in delivering strategic initiatives within the Data Office
- Preparing executive presentations for the Chief Data Officer and senior stakeholders
- Conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses and presenting findings in clear, structured reports
- Drafting meeting summaries and documentation for leadership decision-making
- Assisting in developing stakeholder engagement strategies and communication materials
- Collaborating with global and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery
- Taking ownership of assigned tasks, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
What You’ll Bring to the Role
- Currently studying Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or any other related field
- Previous project-related working experience in the insurance industry would be a plus
- High accuracy, reliability, pro-activity and able to work independently
- Good communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a professional, international working environment
- Business fluent in English (reading and writing)
- Experience with data-handling and how to leverage the relevant IT tools independently (PowerPoint, Excel)
- A willingness to learn and explore how AI can enhance your role and the broader organization is expected.
Further Information:
- Start as soon as possible, duration minimum of 6 months with the possibility to extend up to 2 years
- Working hours: 38 hours/week
- Enrollment at university is a requirement for the duration of the employment
