Intern (m/f/d) in Macroeconomics and Capital Markets Research in Economic Research

Job purpose/role

The purpose of the Macroeconomics and Capital Markets Research team within Economic Research is to provide macroeconomic and market insights that help our clients define and implement their multi-asset mid-term investment strategy. We provide economic and strategic advice ranging from economic forecasts to scenario analysis to thematic research for decision making and thought leadership. Our recommendations are based on thorough analysis of economic data and capital market information, using fundamental analysis and valuation models.

Key responsibilities

-Preparation and development of the Macroeconomics and Capital Markets Research Team projects

-Maintenance, management and development of databases

-Development of quantitative/valuation models

-Management of the team's chart book

-Excel and Python-based file optimization

Key requirements / Skills / Experience

-Preferable Finance/Economics/ Econometrics/Financial Engineering/Quantitative Research background

-Strong interest / knowledge in macroeconomics, econometrics or quantitative-oriented finance

-Fluent in English (written and spoken)

-Experience with Python and EViews is an advantage

-Excellent command of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & VBA

-Excellent team player who enjoys working in an international environment

-Proactive behavior and ability to work independently
