Job Purpose / Role
This role is designed to support the development and continuous enhancement of the CIO department within AZ Direct, ensuring the alignment of IT with the organization’s business needs. The position provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to strategic initiatives, strengthen IT governance, and drive meaningful improvements in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure alignment of governance initiatives with organizational goals, standards, and compliance requirements by actively participating in the improvement and optimization of AZ Direct IT Operating Model.
• Support the development and enhancement of the 1st Line of Defense Control Framework within AZ Direct, ensuring accountability and operational governance across the organization.
• Contribute to strengthening the IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) process to improve resilience and ensure operational continuity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Enterprise/IT Architecture, Third Party Risk Management, Protection & Resilience, Transformation Office, Risk, and IT Functions, to drive governance initiatives and implement process improvements effectively.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex IT issues in a manner tailored to the target audience.
• Ability to independently prioritize tasks and work flexibly, efficiently, and in a target-oriented manner.
• Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with diverse individuals.
Qualifications/Skills
• Currently pursuing a university degree in Information Systems (IS), Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, at a professional level (e.g., B2/C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
• Ideally, prior experience in the IT field, showcasing familiarity with industry best practices, frameworks, and methodologies.
• A big plus: Demonstrated experience in successfully driving and managing projects within an IT- related domain.
• Ability to work from the office at least once a week to foster collaboration and team engagement.
