About us
We are seeking a dynamic Junior Strategy Manager with a strong focus on the development and operationalization of our strategic agenda, aligning with both long-term ambitions and short to mid-term priorities. In this role, you will drive and coordinate internal strategic initiatives alongside our senior leadership team, with a particular emphasis on market and competitive analysis, internal performance analysis, and high-level financial modeling and business case development levering AI tools for an efficient and comprehensive outcome.
You derive strategic options and synthesize potential solutions in a compelling narrative to be presented directly to C-level and Board-level stakeholders. You will also support the first steps of execution of agreed strategic initiatives by translating the strategy into roadmaps, define KPIs, and support as PMO. You will be responsible for managing relationships and interfaces within the organization and externally on behalf of our Chief Transformation Officer (CTO), ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across all levels.
You will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of our strategies. As a trusted sparring partner to the CTO and senior leadership team, you will contribute to shaping the future direction of Allianz Direct.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the operationalization of Allianz Direct’s strategic agenda, both in terms of long-term ambitions and short to mid-term priorities
• Drive and/or coordinate strategic initiatives jointly with the senior leadership team, with a focus on performance analysis (external, internal), scenario modelling, and synthesizing results on top management level to support their decision making
• Support first steps of execution of strategic initiatives, e.g. by translating the strategy into roadmaps, define KPIs, and kick-start the implementation as PMO
• Manage intra-Group and external relationships and interfaces on behalf of the CTO, ensuring effective communication and collaboration during strategic projects
• Act as a sparring partner to the CTO and senior leadership team, providing insights and recommendations based on thorough project analysis and management
Qualifications / Key Skills
• High analytical and conceptual aptitude combined with strong project management skills
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with a proactive and independent working style
• Ability to analyze complex information and data, translating insights into actionable recommendations
• Expertise in challenging stakeholder management, particularly with top management, ensuring alignment and effective communication during strategic initiatives
Education & Experience
• Degree in business administration, economics, natural sciences, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in (top) management consulting or strategy office, with a focus performance analysis, and creation of top management presentations
• Confidence in daily interaction with senior management, demonstrating expertise in managing strategic projects and initiatives
• Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
• Experience in using AI tools across the entire spectrum of tasks, i.e. from research activities to final delivery creation
