Who will you join?
You will join the Legal team of Group People & Culture, where you will, in this strategically important and globally oriented position, play a central role in providing legal advice across all areas of employment law and driving key governance topics within People & Culture for Allianz SE and its international entities.
The role serves as the primary point of contact for regulatory matters in the global HR environment and significantly contributes to shaping legal compliance as well as the further development of global HR governance.
It involves advising on complex and strategically relevant employment law topics and supporting and shaping the direction and governance of global HR initiatives through strong subject-matter expertise.
A key responsibility includes preparing well-founded legal decision papers for various Group Committees. Positioned at the interface between the Allianz Group’s holding company and its international subsidiaries, the role is closely involved in global decision-making and design processes.
This role offers you the opportunity to apply your legal expertise in an international and dynamic environment and to actively contribute to shaping the future of strategically relevant employment law matters as well as Allianz’s global HR governance.
How can you make an impact?
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice on complex individual and collective employment law matters for Allianz SE Holding and the Allianz Group.
- Support and advise on Group People & Culture initiatives from a strategic and legal perspective, within regulatory frameworks, including Solvency II.
- Implement internal People & Culture policies and standards from a legal standpoint in an international corporate environment.
- Advise on governance-related legal matters.
- Provide legal oversight of Group-wide People & Culture policies, including associated monitoring processes.
- Advise on legal requirements regarding sustainability related matters.
What are you made of?
Qualifications
- Fully qualified lawyer with above-average exam results (ideally both State Exams graded ‘vollbefriedigend’) and a specialization in employment law.
- Several years of professional experience in employment law, gained in an internationally oriented commercial law firm or in an internationally operating company with matrix structures.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., Solvency II) and their impact on People & Culture.
- Strategic mindset, diplomatic skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with top management.
- Business-fluent English skills (written and spoken).
- Experience in applying generative AI.
- Experience in insurance or asset management, consulting, or digital/tech environments is a plus.
