Who will you join?
The H5 Board Office of Allianz SE is working at the heart of the organization alongside Board members and senior management. The team operates at the intersection of strategy and execution, driving a wide range of high-impact topics across the Group. You will collaborate closely across functions and disciplines as well as with the heads of H5 Business Division, gaining unique insight into enterprise-wide decision-making.
How can you make an impact?
The role combines strategic coordination with hands on execution and spans transversal, Board level topics. You will:
- Lead transversal HR processes across H5, including coordination across stakeholders, preparation of decision relevant materials, tracking of approvals and follow ups, and ensuring timely and accurate execution
- Provide Ad hoc support on key Group projects, including strategic initiatives and transactions such as M&A, where the role supports structuring, coordination, preparation of senior level materials, and close follow up with internal and external stakeholders
- Drive strategic, transversal initiatives across the Group, requiring strong structuring skills, orchestration across functions, and disciplined execution from concept to delivery
- Ensure full alignment of the H5 project portfolio with Allianz SE requirements, including compliance with Group policies, data security standards, and vendor management
- Take full product ownership of the H5 financial dashboard ensuring a robust, transparent, and decision-focused reporting solution aligned with management needs
- Take full ownership of the technical collaboration environment, driving SharePoint and platform governance with a strong focus on structured information management, strict access controls, compliance (incl. ASIDM), and end-to-end transparency, while ensuring stable, efficient, and fit-for-purpose operations
- Prepare, consolidate, and quality-control Board level and senior management materials (presentations, briefings, speaking points, decision papers)
- Track and follow up on actions, commitments and decisions across multiple parallel topics, ensuring reliability, escalation where needed, and closure
What are you made of?
- Several years of experience in project management or comparable roles within a complex, international organization
- Exposure to senior management or Board level environments, with the ability to operate confidently and credibly at that level
- Solid understanding of the insurance industry, gained through experience in an insurance group, financial services, consulting, or a closely related field
- Proven ability to manage complex topics and a high volume of operational tasks in parallel, with strong execution discipline
- Excellent structuring, prioritization and follow up skills; attention to detail is critical
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of senior level materials
- You are highly organized, hands on and resilient
- Strong team player, able to collaborate effectively in a highly dynamic and demanding environment with a positive, reliable, and constructive approach under pressure
- Experience with SAP financial reporting (e.g. SAP BW, reporting tools) is a plus
- Strong data affinity, with the ability to own and navigate complex data, ensuring clarity, transparency, and decision relevance for senior management
- You are comfortable switching between strategic topics and numerous small, sometimes ambiguous tasks without losing focus or quality
- You take ownership, follow through meticulously, and are eager to engage with different stakeholders to get things done
- You are pragmatic, discreet and reliable, and you take pride in getting things done properly
- High level of reliability, discretion and ownership
- Fluency in English is required; German is an advantage
- Previous experience in insurance or asset management business functions, consulting, digital / tech is a plus
- Experience applying Gen AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, etc. and Ethical AI solutions
