Role Overview:

 

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Protection and Resilience team. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to initiatives that enhance organizational and community resilience against risks and challenges. The intern will support projects that focus on risk management, disaster preparedness, and safeguarding systems to ensure continuity and safety.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Contribute to the development of Protection & Resilience frameworks and tools.

• Assist in updating procedures and plans related to Protection & Resilience.

• Consolidate data from various sources and prepare for comprehensive analysis.

• Identify and assist in implementing process automation solutions to improve workflow efficiency.

• Participate in the creation of workshops and awareness campaigns.

• Maintain accurate records and tracking of project progress, pending actions and outcomes.

• Prepare reports and summaries for team and stakeholder meetings.

• Support on compliance tasks related to Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA).

 

 

Qualifications:

 

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Risk Management, or a Science-related field.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).

• Knowledge of Jira and Confluence.

• Experience with data analysis tools or software (e.g., Excel, Power BI).

• Proficiency in analyzing complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

• Experience with computer programming is a plus (e.g., Python, SQL).

• Experience with AI tools and process automation tools (e.g. Power Automate) is plus.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Interest in risk management, disaster preparedness, and community resilience.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Familiarity with global frameworks such as ISO 22301, DRI or similar.
