JOB PURPOSE/ROLE
We're looking for a developer with a quantitative background to join our expert team at IDS. In this role, you'll analyze financial data and optimize valuation processes while designing and developing investment management solutions. You'll serve as the crucial bridge between business requirements and technical implementation. You're passionate about data and have strong development skills combined with quantitative finance knowledge.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and implement mathematical models for valuation of financial instruments (mainly fixed income and derivatives)
- Migrate, maintain and extend our portfolio management/planning tool to meet regulatory and customer requirements
- Quality assurance for risk capital calculations and economic scenario generations
- Automate/speed up data-driven processes and improve their resilience
- Troubleshooting and 3rd level operational support
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Master degree preferably in mathematics, IT, Finance or comparable degree (PhD is a plus)
- Strong IT and coding skills, especially in C# (Python, Bash, and SQL are a plus)
- Knowledge in financial mathematics, investment instruments, valuation methods
- Several years of experience in programming and finance would be an advantage
- Knowledge of tools like Github/Git, Jira, Visual Studio Professional/VS Code/nvim
- Experience with Docker/Podman, k8s, Jenkins and Azure are beneficial
- Strong team player ready to take over responsibility
- Getting-things-done mentality and pioneering spirit
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent in German and English
