Some of your specific responsibilities could include:  

• Working with stakeholders designing the future business architecture and operating model in terms of how products and propositions, customer channels, people, processes and technology interact 

• Supporting strategic decision making by consulting on technical, operational, and business dimensions, to clarify the business and operational implications of change  

• Driving business transformation by supporting major strategic initiatives with their visioning and scoping towards the target business architecture  

• Partnering with portfolio management, enterprise architecture, business owners and initiative owners to ensure alignment of the portfolio of change to strategic priorities and the future business & operating model  

• Supporting the development, maintenance and curation of business architecture assets and artefacts  

• Promoting the value of business architecture in the strategy to execution lifecycle  

• Developing the business architecture practice at Allianz Commercial further  

What You’ll Bring to the Role  

• Solid business experience in Industrial / Corporate Insurance, preferably with a solid track record in Transformation, or a business unit such as Underwriting and/or Market Management  

• Experience of working in a business architecture role with relevant business and operating model design experience  

• Advanced understanding of the interplay between business capabilities, value streams and operating models  

• A recognized qualification in Business Architecture (such as certification from the Business Architecture Guild) is beneficial - otherwise strong commitment to continuous learning and growth within architecture field essential  

• Understanding for the interplay between Enterprise Architecture domains including business, data, application, technology architecture  

• Solid strategic and conceptual thinking, ability to design solutions to complex problems based on business knowledge and customer centricity – from big picture down to a detailed view  

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to relate, partner, and collaborate across the business and all levels of stakeholders with a proactive and collaborative style of working  

• A quick learner with excellent time management and organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities  

• Can-do attitude with entrepreneurial thinking and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and international environment 

• Ability to lead/influence others without authority 

• Experience in applying artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to improve business processes and decision-making is highly beneficial.  

• Fluent English skills are required. Additional language is a plus.
