The Group Protection & Resilience team is committed to ensuring that Allianz Group is able to withstand and recover from disruptions to its business operations. For our central team at Allianz headquarters in Munich, Germany, we are seeking a Protective Security Management (PSM) and Emergency Response Management (ERM) Senior Expert. The ideal candidate will have extensive practical background in both domains and strong project management skills. How can you make an impact?
As a Senior Expert PSM & ERM you will:
- Co-ordinate Group-wide activities and implementation of Allianz standards in both domains
- Develop and maintain the PSM & ERM framework, incl. standards, guiding handbooks and procedures
- Act as the centre of excellence and single point of contact for Allianz-OEs in both domains
- Co-ordinate the global expert community with calls, ad-hoc information sharing and best-practice sharing
- Create awareness measures, trainings and communication, targeting the expert community as well as relevant broader audience
- Develop physical penetration test concept
- Steer Allianz-OEs towards full compliance and effectiveness, also via monitoring, follow-up on self-assessments and on-site as well as remote reviews
- Participate in the projects to roll-out the global crisis management tool, to establish the Operational Threat Assessment and the selection of threat intelligence tool support
- Maintain the network with external peers for holistic information gathering
Manage Allianz Group Travel Security Program:
- Act as intermediate between Allianz-OEs, travellers, the travel security provider and the mobility service provider in all travel security related affairs
- Provide individual advice and security briefings to travellers and expatriates in countries with increased risk levels
- Prepare decision making for cross-border remote work requests from high-risk destinations
- Steer travel security provider (operational and strategic level) and act as first escalation contact
- Gather and disseminate threat intelligence from various sources, including social media, news outlets, and security reports, to oversee and escalate potential security risks
- Further develop the Travel Security Program in close cooperation with the mobility service provider
Cross functional impact:
- Manage the study and project to establish a Joint Security Operations Center with comprehensive threat monitoring and across all safeguarding functions
- Participate in the global incident co-ordination and oversight team for joint and coordinated incident response, root cause analysis and follow up monitoring
What are you made of?
- Minimum 10+ years of practical experience in corporate security, law enforcement or military service
- Successfully completed studies in security management or a comparable education
- Several years of professional experience and tactical knowledge in the processes and procedures of protective security domains and in emergency response management
- Proven expertise in event security planning, executive protection programs and physical security management
- Experience in the management of external fraud cases and of physical threats related to personal safety issues such as mobbing, stalking and blackmailing
- Proven experience in challenging and risk-prone environments
- Existing and reliable network of peers within the industry and LEAs
- Strong project management as well as analytical and conceptual skills
- Experience in presenting and facilitating trainings in front of large audiences
- Ability to work self-responsibly and autonomously, even under high pressure
- Reliable, highly committed, precise working, and independent thinking
- Willingness to participate in the on-call availability and incident monitoring process, also beyond the usual working hours (i.e. team effort for Saturday monitoring rotation).
- Fluent English skills (written and spoken) are mandatory; additional language skills are welcome
- Sound MS Office skills
- Previous experience in business related functions (i.e. Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital / Tech etc.) is a plus
- Experience applying ChatGPT, Generative AI, and Ethical AI solutions
