The Group Protection & Resilience team is committed to ensuring that Allianz Group is able to withstand and recover from disruptions to its business operations.For our team based in the headquarters in Munich, Germany, we are looking for a Senior Expert for Incident & Crisis Management Reporting, who has a profound background in both domains and with strong experience in IT incident solution management as well as related regulation and industry standards. How can you make an impact?

 

The Incident & Crisis Management function is the global owner of the processes to manage oversight, assessment and reporting of all kind of major incidents and the end-to-end response to a crisis situation. The Senior Reporting Expert will together with other experts of the team enhance, shape and support the functional guidance, oversight and procedures that reports on major incidents and crisis situations.

 

You will:

 

  • Establish and maintain a framework with procedures and tooling that ensures timely reporting to all stakeholders, i.e. senior management, subject matter experts, risk function and regulators
  • Support the co-ordination of the governance bodies that oversee globally major incidents and manage a Group-wide crisis with involvement of the senior management (Group Hybrid Fusion Center and Group Crisis Unit)
  • Perform systematic monitoring of the maturity of Allianz OEs in their readiness to report a major incident/crisis situation and support them in conducting trainings and crisis exercises as well as best-practice sharing across the Allianz Group leading and executing OE review and self-assessment tasks
  • As the reporting expert in our Group Incident & Crisis Management team, you manage timely assessment and reporting to the relevant stakeholders of the Group and provide expertise and support to Allianz entities around the globe in the implementation of adequate reporting procedures, both IT and non-IT related
  • Ensure timely ad-hoc as well as standard reporting to peer functions, stakeholders, management and regulators
  • Monitor major incidents and provide cross-functional assessments including expertise of all relevant stakeholders and act as the focal point of incident coordination on Group level, ensuring a globally unified approach and regulatory compliance of incidents
  • Collaborate with other Group centre’s, Allianz entities, Allianz Services and Allianz Technology
  • Act as back-up for other Protection & Resilience experts to mitigate key person risk

 

 

What are you made of?


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of operational/consulting experience in the operational resilience and security area, i.e. Crisis Management, IT and Cyber Incident Management, Business Continuity Management
  • At least seven years of hands-on experience in managing response measures and incident solutions
  • Understanding of the business based on practical experience in the core of the financial services operations
  • Graduate in Economics, Business, Legal, IT, Risk management or Finance or a comparable education
  • Knowledge of relevant internationals standards, certifications are welcome
  • Ability to build strong working relationships in virtual, international and complex team environments
  • Strong teamwork ethic, solid interpersonal and listening skills, analytical skills, ability to apply independent judgement, strive for win-win situations
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills and ability to convey complex information to different stakeholder groups
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines with high agility and adaptability
  • Reliable, highly committed, precise working combined with analytical and conceptual skills
  • Strong communicator who is comfortable presenting and facilitating trainings in front of an audience
  • Ability to work self-responsible and autonomously, also at times of high pressure International travel will be required
  • Fluent English skills (written and spoken) are mandatory, good level of German skills are required to support interactions with the German regulator
  • Willingness to participate in the incident monitoring process, also beyond the usual working hours

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in business related functions (i.e. Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital / Tech etc.) is a plus
  • Experience applying ChatGPT, Generative AI, and Ethical AI solutions
