In the role of Senior Manager (m/f/d) Tax Compliance, you will play a crucial part in the strategic alignment and optimization of our tax compliance processes. You will oversee all aspects of tax compliance, ensuring that our organization meets the highest standards both locally and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive tax compliance strategies
- Ensure the organization’s adherence to local and international tax regulations and standards
- Provide strategic guidance to the tax compliance team, fostering a high-performance culture
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align tax compliance initiatives with the organization’s financial objectives
- Drive continuous improvement in tax compliance processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Monitor and interpret changes in tax laws and regulations, advising the organization on strategic responses
- Manage complex tax audits and inquiries, ensuring accurate and strategic communication
Key Requirements
- Master’s degree in Tax; professional certification (e.g.,German tax advisor, CPA, CTA)
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in tax compliance
- Deep expertise in local and international tax regulations and compliance strategies
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills in English and German
- Ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
- Advanced proficiency in tax software and MS Office applications
