TEX Business Manager (m/f/d) at Allianz SE

Who will you join?

Global P&C is a Group Center of Allianz SE, based in Munich. Mandated to drive P&C profit enhancement globally, Global P&C supports operating entities (OEs) to develop a competitive advantage in their markets, to create a self-sustaining culture of improvement within the Allianz Group, to foster P&C talent development and to enhance Technical Excellence (TEX) in P&C. An international team with diverse backgrounds and extensive experience, Global P&C has 90+ colleagues from over 20 countries.

We are looking for a TEX Business Manager to join the Global P&C Head Office. In this position you will have the unique opportunity to work closely with the Head office of Global P&C and the leadership team, as well as senior leaders at both Group and OE level, enabling you to build a great understanding of the organization and develop your network. You will get top-management insights, participate in strategically important projects and serve as a key communications interface to a wide range of stakeholders within and outside the Group.    

How can you make an impact?

You will:

• Support the Head of Global P&C in their day-to-day role and the delivery of Global P&C priorities and strategic ambitions
• Collaborate with Group and OE representatives to prepare meetings and communications, conduct analyses, and facilitate decision making
• Prepare top-management presentations including alignment with key stakeholders and then drive follow-up actions
• Participate in projects requiring the attention or representation of the Head of Global P&C and handle daily administrative tasks and ad-hoc requests from external as well as internal stakeholders
• Take on responsibility for departmental topics such as communications or budget management
• Organize and oversee Global P&C team events, as well as TEX events including the annual TEX Week conference and Technical Area Forums        

What are you made of?

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Strong academic track record with relevant studies (Diploma or Master’s degree)
• Fully fluent in spoken & written English, additional languages are a plus
• Very strong computer literacy in MS Office (esp. PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience with P&C/technical insurance background, plus experience of strategic as well as operational tasks
• Pro-active, efficient and independent working style with sense of initiative and able to deliver high-quality results also under time pressure
• Proven team-player with strong communication skills
• Demonstrable experience in an international environment with excellent cross-cultural skills
• Excellent organizational, project management, prioritization and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail
• Strong analytical skills, ability to connect different pieces of information and present ideas in a clear and structured manner
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to adapt to different stakeholders         

Preferred Additional Qualifications

• Previous experience in insurance business functions, consulting, digital / tech is a plus
• Experience applying Generative AI tools in daily working situations
