Job description:
We are looking for you! We are currently hiring a forward-thinking and results-oriented Third-Party Risk Management & Outsourcing Officer (f/m/d). This position is based in our Munich office and reports directly to the Head of Operational Governance.
In this role, you will be responsible for advancing the third-party risk management capabilities in alignment with the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA). You will operate at multiple levels within the organization, implementing a comprehensive third-party risk management framework, overseeing third-party relationships, and ensuring that all processes comply with DORA requirements, ultimately strengthening the organization's operational resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
Standard and Requirements Compliance:
• Ensure that all third-party relationships and associated processes comply with DORA and other regulatory requirements (e.g., BaFin).
• Regularly review and update TPRM and Outsourcing policies and procedures to reflect changes in regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with Group to align TPRM and Outsourcing activities with overall regulatory compliance efforts.
Monitoring and Risk Assessment:
• Lead the execution of the TPRM lifecycle for both existing and new third-party relationships.
• Establish and maintain ongoing monitoring processes to assess the performance and risk profile of third-party vendors.
• Maintain and update third-party inventories.
• Conduct regular risk assessments of third-party relationships, identifying areas of potential concern and recommending appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
Business Owner Support:
• Collaborate with business owners to support them in fulfilling their obligations under the TPRM framework throughout the entire lifecycle of third-party relationships.
• Provide guidance and expertise to business units in the selection, onboarding, and management of third-party vendors, ensuring alignment with TPRM and Outsourcing policies and procedures.
• Facilitate training and awareness programs to educate business owners on their roles and responsibilities in the TPRM process.
Cross-Functional Facilitation:
• Collaborate with Key Functions and serve as a key facilitator and strategic partner to critical functions such as Procurement, Risk Management, Legal, Data Privacy, Information Security and Compliance.
• Ensure that all third-party risk management efforts are integrated with broader organizational strategies and compliance initiatives.
