Working Student - Business Intelligence (m/f/d)

We are looking for a working student (m/f/d) for our modern and innovative location Die Macherei Munich Berg am Laim.

Allianz Partners Data and Analytics function is responsible for Data Delivery, Data Governance and Business Intelligence activities within Allianz Partners globally. It delivers a global data initiative, which develops the governance and the technical design of a consolidated, harmonized data integration for modern data analytics.  

We are at the heart of driving strategic decisions through innovative data solutions. We are looking for a working student within the Business Intelligence team, focusing on the insurance domain. In this role you will support Product Owners and their teams to reach the goal of delivering products which will deliver real value and business insights.  

What you will do as a working student (m/f/d)

• Analyse complex datasets to identify trends patterns and anomalies  

• Explore and profile data from various data sources 

• Support with communications activities within the department  

• You support ongoing projects and help documenting progresses in tools such as Jira and Confluence  

• Content preparation and wrap up of meetings will be part of your tasks 

What you bring as a working student (m/f/d)

• Advanced studies (Bachelor-/ Master) in the area of economics, business, IT, statistics, mathematics or similar 

• Know-how of financial KPIs and analytical understanding of insurance related data is a benefit  

• You are proactive, organized, able to work on your own and always keep the bigger picture in mind.  

• You can communicate fluent in English, German is a plus  

• First knowledge in PowerBI is a plus as well as basic understanding of, SQL and databases particularly in an Azure environment
