We are looking for a Working Student Sustainability Office (m/f/d), based in Munich.

Your Team

The Sustainability Governance team is part of the Chief Sustainability Office at Allianz Commercial. The team is responsible for ensuring the effective integration of AZ Group’s sustainability goals and policies into operational processes. By embedding sustainability into underwriting due diligence, strengthening transparent reporting, and advancing decarbonization efforts, the team drives consistent and measurable progress toward the Group’s long-term sustainability ambitions.

Some of your specific responsibilities could include:

Support the roll-out of a sustainability due diligence tool in the underwriting process, including testing, documentation, and user support.

Conduct research and prepare analyses to support client engagements on climate-related topics and broader sustainability issues.

Assist in maintaining and further developing the sustainability governance framework, including updating internal documentation, guidelines, and reporting materials.

Support the preparation of presentations, briefing materials, and other communications for internal stakeholders and client meetings.

Provide general administrative and organizational support for sustainability initiatives and ongoing projects.

What You’ll Bring to the Role

First experience in the area of sustainability

Competence in project and process management, being able to handling multiple tasks simultanously

Data-driven and innovation minded

Comfortable with working both in a team and independently, in an international and dynamic environment

The ability to utilize AI tools to support day-to-day tasks, improve efficiency, and contribute to data-driven decision-making is valuable

Fluent in English, written and spoken

Further Information:

Duration at least 6 months (preferably longer)

Working hours: 20 hours/week

Enrollment at the university/college is a prerequisite for the duration of employment
