The Impact You Will Have  

In this role you will be responsible for supporting the Chief Underwriting Office Financial Lines with portfolio management, reporting, data analytics, pricing and underwriting activities. You will participate in strategic projects and initiatives. 

Some of your specific responsibilities could include: 

• Support implementation and enhancement of portfolio management framework 

• Identify key KPIs & monitor 

• Support build and maintenance of data pool, optimize reporting capabilities 

• Contribute to external data sources analysis and integration  

• Support development of technical pricing tools 

• Proactively support the preparation of underwriting assessment, referral process, product development and trainings 

• Participate in strategic projects and initiatives by providing support and/or coordinating activities 

• Carry out independent research for your department 

What You’ll Bring to the Role 

• Interest in a career in insurance 

• Good communication skills (verbal and written) and research skills. 

• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and generate meaningful insights. 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially in Excel, Word, and Powerpoint. 

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Power BI for building and visualizing reports. 

• Familiarity with data platforms (e.g. Databricks or similar) or SQL based tools. 

• Experience in creating and maintaining dashboards and reports. 

• Attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and consistency. 

• Fluent English skills are required, German skills are a plus.  

• You demonstrate accountability and initiative as a self-starter. 

• Ability to work in a team and willingness to learn. 

• A basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) and its potential applications in business is essential.   

Further Information: 

• Duration at least 6 months (preferably longer)  

• Working hours: 20 hours/week  

• Enrollment at the university/college is a prerequisite for the duration of employment.
