About the Job 

 

As a Corporate Communication CPO Function, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing communication strategies that align with the overall business objectives. You will be responsible for developing and implementing internal communication plans that foster employee engagement and cultural alignment, while creating compelling content that highlights company culture, values, and transformation initiatives.

 

Your role will involve coordinating messaging across HR programs and initiatives, managing employee feedback channels, and ensuring consistent, inclusive communication across global teams. Additionally, you will lead strategic and executive communication efforts, crafting high-quality multimedia content and harmonizing project communications with Allianz Technology’s overarching strategy.

 

With your extensive experience in international communications, you will support and influence C-suite executives, leveraging your storytelling skills and digital communication expertise to drive impactful messaging and engagement.

 

What you do

 

  • Define and evolve the communication strategy for People & Culture topics, aligning with the overall business strategy to foster employee engagement and cultural alignment.
  • Develop and implement internal communication strategies, creating compelling content that highlights company culture, values, and transformation initiatives, while ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Write and manage internal content such as newsletters, intranet articles, and leadership messages, supporting change management initiatives through clear and effective communication.
  • Coordinate messaging for HR programs and initiatives, managing employee feedback channels and ensuring communication is consistent, inclusive, and regionally adapted across global teams.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans for technology and transformation topics, creating high-quality multimedia content that translates complex topics into engaging narratives.
  • Lead C-level communication activities, harmonizing project communications with overarching transformation messages and Allianz Technology’s strategy, while maintaining editorial oversight.
  • Own the strategic planning, development, and implementation of global communication projects and campaigns across diverse topics, ensuring alignment with business goals.

 

What you bring

 

  • Seasoned communications professional with 10+ years of international experience in financial services, consulting and technology sectors, leading complex communication initiatives in global organizations.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution skills, adept at moving from vision to delivery, and supporting C-suite executives with high-impact messaging.
  • Strong background in internal and external communications, blending creativity, business acumen, and data insights to create compelling stories across markets and time zones.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with native (or near-native) English proficiency, and an advanced degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Proficient in digital communication tools and platforms, including social media management systems, with extensive experience managing corporate presence on Microsoft Viva Engage and LinkedIn.
  • Relevant experience in corporate communications, including executive positioning, content creation, and familiarity with AI technologies for communication strategies.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal oversight, leveraging experience in both finance and technology sectors for a deep understanding of their intersection.
