About the Role

 


We are seeking an experienced Partnerships Manager to lead and develop our partnerships strategy in Spain. This is a pivotal role responsible for driving business growth through strategic B2B2C partnerships, managing the full partnership lifecycle, and building a sustainable partnerships business segment in the Spanish market.


As Partnerships Manager, you will be the key liaison between partners, internal stakeholders, and external parties, ensuring seamless execution of partnership initiatives from inception through to post-launch growth. You will work closely with our Spain CEO, Chief Partnerships Officer, and cross-functional teams to optimize partnership relationships and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 


Business Development & Strategy


•    Lead business development initiatives and respond to RFPs for the Spanish market in coordination with the Chief Partnerships Officer, Spain CEO, and local leadership
•    Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders including TUIO, Gallen, and other B2B2C partnerships
•    Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to continuously refine and adjust local partnership strategies
•    Generate compelling business cases for partnership projects and monitor their performance against targets

 


Partnership Management


•    Act as the primary partnership liaison and decision hub throughout all partnership stages: sales, onboarding, execution, and post-go-live
•    Manage and nurture relationships with partners and external parties supporting the partnership model (brokers, introducers, consultants, legal firms)
•    Drive ongoing growth strategies for existing partnerships
•    Develop and maintain a strong partnership pipeline to achieve revenue targets
Process Optimization
•    Analyze current partnership processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency in partner management and growth
•    Ensure effective execution of the Partnerships business plan and operating model in Spain
•    Collaborate with local and global cross-functional teams to optimize partnership operations and customer experience

 

 

What We're Looking For


Essential Experience


•    Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business development and partnership management
•    Proven track record in B2B2C partnerships, preferably in insurance, financial services, or related industries
•    Experience managing stakeholder relationships across complex partnership ecosystems
•    Strong project management background with ability to manage requirements, timelines, and prioritization
•    Demonstrated ability to create and track business cases with measurable outcomes
•    Deep understanding of market dynamics, channel environments, and partnership economics


Technical Skills


•    Business Development & Targeting (Advanced level): Ability to lead BD initiatives aligned with growth strategy and business plans
•    Partner & Stakeholder Management (Advanced level): Ongoing improvement and management of diverse stakeholders across partnerships
•    Project Management (Advanced level): Managing requirements, timelines, and prioritization for multiple projects
•    Business Case Development (Advanced level): Creation and monitoring of business cases for partnership initiatives
•    Market & Channel Understanding (Advanced level): Research and strategic adjustment based on market evolution


General Skills & Competencies


•    Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex situations and develop practical solutions
•    Presentation Skills: Confident in presenting to senior stakeholders and partners
•    KPI Understanding: Strong grasp of performance metrics and data-driven decision making
•    Business Intelligence Tools: Experience with BI tools, databases, and advanced Excel skills
•    Storytelling: Ability to craft compelling narratives around partnership opportunities and results
•    Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English (required) and Spanish (required)
