Data scientist

The Data Scientist is responsible for analyzing large volumes of data, developing predictive models, and extracting actionable insights to support the company’s strategic decision-making. The role collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to transform data into business value.
What you do:

Collect, clean, and process large sets of structured and unstructured data

Develop and validate statistical, machine learning, and deep learning models
-
Visualize data and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
-
Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to define problems and propose data-driven solutions

Deploy models into production and monitor their performance

Stay up to date with trends and technologies in data science
What you bring:
Academic:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or related fields
Technical:
-
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and/or R
-
Experience with data science libraries and frameworks (pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)

Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
-
Proficiency in visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib, etc.)
-
Experience using cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plu
Soft Skills:

Analytical thinking and problem-solving

Ability to work in a team and communicate complex ideas in a simple way

Adaptability and continuous learning
Experience:

At least 2 years in similar roles involving data analysis, predictive modelling, or data science

Proven experience in machine learning or advanced data analysis projects
Desirable:

Certifications in data science or machine learning

Participation in data competitions (Kaggle, DrivenData, etc.)

Experience in specific industries (finance, retail, healthcare, etc.)
