Allianz Partners is looking for a visionary pricing leader to shape the future of RSA pricing worldwide. As Senior Lead for RSA Pricing & Rating Engine Solutions, you will be the technical architect behind our global pricing strategy, driving innovation, advancing modelling capabilities, and building next‑generation rating engines for a highly diverse, multi‑market portfolio.

This is a strategic, high‑impact role, with direct visibility to executive stakeholders and a mandate to set the global direction for RSA pricing. Working closely with the dedicated RSA Data Team, you’ll focus on pricing intelligence: transforming external data ecosystems into competitive advantage, elevating modelling sophistication, and ensuring Allianz Partners remains a global leader in RSA risk pricing.

You will lead a team of 8+ pricing experts across markets, develop our modelling capability, and embed a culture of analytical excellence, innovation, and commercial impact.

What you do

Global Pricing Strategy & Market Positioning

  • Own and define the global pricing strategy across all RSA products and geographies.
  • Translate portfolio intelligence, market dynamics, and technical insights into competitive, sustainable tariffs.
  • Lead technical competitor benchmarking to sharpen our market positioning.
  • Collaborate with Regional Underwriting & Portfolio teams to align pricing with appetite, profitability targets, and commercial goals.
  • Support RSA Smart Circle reviews and planning cycles, delivering clear and actionable pricing insights.
  • Identify under‑/over‑priced segments and recommend corrective pricing actions that drive profitable growth.

Rating Engine Development & Advanced Modelling

  • Lead the design, development, and continuous evolution of RSA rating engines using WTW Radar, Emblem, and other actuarial platforms.
  • Apply GLMs, GBMs, Random Forests, neural networks, and clustering methodologies to model frequency, severity, segmentation, and rate relativities.
  • Implement profit testing across the full P&L to ensure tariff adequacy.
  • Uphold rigorous actuarial governance through model documentation, peer reviews, and version control.

External Data, Platforms & Pricing Innovation

  • Identify and integrate high‑value external data sources: telematics, geo‑spatial/climate risk, socio-demo, medical cost data, claims benchmarks.
  • Explore and evaluate AI-driven pricing ecosystems and emerging actuarial technologies.
  • Co‑develop data requirements with the RSA Data team, ensuring pricing‑grade pipelines and granularity.
  • Promote use of open‑source tools (Python, R), cloud ML platforms, and flexible modelling frameworks.
  • Assess connected insurance capabilities, including IoT, real-time risk scoring, and embedded pricing APIs.

Tariff Implementation & Pricing Governance

  • Manage the full tariff lifecycle from data preparation through modelling, rate sign-off, testing, and deployment.
  • Establish global pricing governance standards, validation processes, and change management practices.
  • Drive a centralised tariff review calendar aligned with performance cycles and market conditions.
  • Partner with IT, Operations, and regional teams to ensure smooth deployment into systems.

Team Leadership & Capability Building

  • Lead, coach, and inspire a global team of 8+ pricing professionals.
  • Build modelling and data‑driven pricing capability across markets through training and knowledge-sharing.
  • Foster a culture rooted in analytical rigour, innovation, and commercial focus.
  • Support long-term talent development and succession planning within the RSA pricing community.
